I get art inspiration from everywhere, but a frequent contributor is the card store Papyrus. I am so sad they are closing all their stores. I've bought their cards for years and years. My darling and I love to give each other cards. Well, I saw this card at Papyrus and immediately said I need to do the love bears!

So the card had a similar bear and it simple said I love you on it. So cute. I just loved that the bear was wearing a headband. So silly!

I chose to do the bear on one nail and wanted a rich red to work with. Since I still hadn't put away Girly Bits Because I Cran, it was perfect. It's perfect for holidays but also for Valentine's Day. It's such a gorgeous, rich red. I didn't want a glitter, because I wanted the art to pop!

Then I used KBShimmer White Here White Now and painted three dots on my nails. That's the easiest way to do heart! The dots are basically in a triangle and then you connect them! I painted smaller hearts within the white hearts. Love it!

My bear was then free-handed. It's fairly simple. I used a black and pink creme for added details. It's just adorable. Everyone enjoyed my love bears! I did one on each hand.

Because I Cran is no longer available. Don' hate me. It's an awesome red, but GB carries lots of gorgeous polish! Isn't this bear adorable?
