I Have Four Shops In Ghana And Now ‘Men’ Are Rushing For The Skirts” – Osebo

Rule to success in Ghana is very simple, the most controversial is the most successful, and in the world of fashion that might be our very own Osebo, founder of Zara Shop Ghana. The man who started off as a laughing stock in Ghana and later in Nigeria for wearing mens skirts seems to be garnering an effective narrative on mensfashion.

Osebo who is also the father to popular celebrity, TV host and producer at GH1 rose to fame when he was spotted in skirts, then known as Nana Aba’s baby father. To celebrity blogs it was a way to shame the Nana Aba by ridiculing him (at that time a nobody in the world of entertainment). However, that ridicule turn into popularity, and that popularity is making some second guess if he has a stick.

According to him in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, a Ghanaian newspaper “I have four shops in Ghana and as we talk now people are rushing for the skirts and they are in high demand. Ever since I started wearing and showing them off on social media, the demand has gone up drastically and I intend importing more,” he revealed to Graphic Showbiz in an interview.

Osebo said his main motivation for dressing in an effeminate manner was to make the trend popular. “I am on a mission and that is what Ghanaians don’t know. Some Ghanaians have started copying my style and I know very soon the wearing of skirts will be all over Ghana,” he said.

Let’s be honest, we might trash the look on him but all it’s going to take is one admirable, fit, handsome fashionistas to turn it into an acceptable culture. It wasn’t long ago artist Mr Drew had Osebo style him for his concert.
